2-day Nazca Lines Tour takes you to visit the enigmatic and mysterious drawings on the sands of Nazca desert. The Nazca Lines Tour starts in the city of Lima from where we drive a public bus to Nazca for about six hours. Once we arrive we head to the domestic airport and over flight the enigmatic Line; then we’ll explore the city of Nazca; overnight here in a hotel of 3-stars category. Next day very early we drive for two hours to Chaco and take the motor boat to sailing toward the Ballestas Island.

Nazca lines are a series of ancient geoglyphs located in the Nazca desert in south of Lima Peru. Scholars believe the “Nazca Lines” were created by the Naza culture between 400 and 500 a.d. Hundreds of individual figures range in complexity from simple lines to stylized hummingbirds, spiders, monkeys, fish, sharks, orcas, lizards, etc.
The lines are shallow designs made in the ground by removing the ubiquitous reddish pebbles and uncovering the whitish ground beneath. Hundreds are simple lines or geometric shapes; more than seventy are zoomorphic. Largest figures are over 200 meters (660 ft) across. Scholars differ in interpreting the purpose of the designs, but in general they ascribe religious significance to them.

Early pick-up from your Lima hotel for a 6-hour bus journey to Nazca and over flight the mysterious Nazca Lines.
At 7:00 am, we’ll leave to explore the Ballestas Islands and then, we’ll continue to the Tour to Paracas Natural Reserve. In the afternoon, you will return to Lima.
The two-day Nazca Lines Tour begins once we pick you up very early from your hotel in Lima and transfer you to Bus Terminal (Bus stop) and continue for a 6-hour bus travel to Nazca; to flight over the enigmatic Nazca Lines.
Here, we will see enormous drawings of animals, birds and geometric figures in the sand. These are one of the greatest mysteries of humanity. After lunch in Nazca, we’ll go to Paracas to visit the Paracas Natural Reserve; overnight in Paracas.
At 07:00 a.m, we’ll leave Paracas toward the Port of Chaco for a boat excursion to the Ballestas Islands to observe sea lions, pelicans, penguins, and different species of marine birds.
There is a view of the famous candlestick design that the Nazca civilization etched on the face of the desert. Then at 01:30 p.m, we’ll depart by First Class Bus to Lima, arriving at aprox 05:30 p.m. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Lima.
