Sunrise Peru Tour is a pristine tour that combines the two prettiest regions of South America: the Andes and the Amazon Jungle. The Sunrise Peru Tour starts in the historical city of Cusco where you’ll visit the Inca temples; then continue toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas and continue with the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu; after you explore the staining Machu Picchu you’ll flight 45 minutes to the Amazon Jungle and explore with our expert guide. Major highlight of Sunrise Peru Tour is an exquisite tour in and around Cusco’s tourist attractions including the iconic Machu Picchu. Sunrise Peru Tour takes you to explore the Amazon Jungle in Puerto Maldonado where you’ll have the choice to see wild animals and abundant flora of the region including trees of 300 years old.


Ten-day Sunrise Peru Tour takes you to trek the footsteps of the ancient Incas visiting lovely Inca temples and observing stunning mountain scenery; you will explore the Lost City of the Incas: Machu Picchu. A short flight will take you to visit the Amazon jungle and feel the enigmatic charm of nature. You will have a wonderful opportunity to observe wildlife in the jungle which is habitat for over 1,800 types of birds, numerous animals and vast amounts of vegetation.

The Sunrise Peru Tour is suitable for all type of tourist; It’s possible to do it all year; during the tour we include hotels of 3-stars category located near the main square which gives you an easy access to restaurants, local markets and other tourist facilities; on the Inca trail we’ll use camping tens which will be transported by our porters, you’ll hike carrying you day backpack with water, snacks and camera.

Day 1:  Cusco

Arrival to Cusco at any time.

Day 2: Ollantaytambo

A full-day tour; you will visit the market of Pisac and the Inca ruins at Pisac and Ollantaytambo. You will spend the night in this small town before heading out for inca Trail trek on the next morning.

Days 3, 4, 5 and 6: Inca Trail

Early breakfast and we’ll head to km 82 the starting point for Inca Trail. Hike on your pace the 45 km of Inca Trail. The last day, you will arrive very early to see the sunrise at Machu Picchu.

NOTE: If you do not prefer to trek extensively, we have an alternative program to travel by train to Machu Picchu, with an extra night in the town of “Aguas Calientes”. For this option you must kindly let us know in advance to book the train tickets.

Day 7: Day free

Your choice of either rest or take an optional tours in Cusco (city tour, rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking, etc).

Days 8-9: Amazon Jungle

45-minute morning flight to Puerto Maldonado and in the afternoon you will visit the monkey island, the next day you will explore the Amazon Jungle with our expert guide.

Day 10: Departure time

Transfer to the airport.

DAY 1: Arrival to Cusco

Sunrise Peru Tour begins once you arrive to Cusco at any time.  You will be transferred to your hotel and you will have briefing and complete review of your tour itinerary. This day, there is no formal planned activity.

DAY 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas

For Sacred Valley of The Incas, we’ll pick you up at 08:30 a.m from the hotel and travel through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit the impressive Pisac ruins and the colourful artisan market where you can purchase handcrafts directly from producers.

The tour continues toward picturesque village of Ollantaytambo site of another large Inca ruin; This major ruin site is known as the best surviving example of Inca urban planning and engineering. It is admired for its huge steep terraces guarding the Inca Fortress and for being one of the few places where the Spaniards lost a major battle during the conquest. Spend the night in this small town before heading out for the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu the next morning.

Pisac Ruins Guided Tour /Pisac-1h

Tour the fascinating hilltop citadel of Pisac, an Incan ruin with plunging gorges, a ceremonial centre, and winding agriculture terracing that’s still in use today. Be captivated by this truly amazing site sitting amid sweeping green valleys and mountain peaks. Explore the back of the site to see a pocketed cliff across “Chitamayo” Gorge, which once contained hundreds of Inca tombs.

Ollantaytambo Ruins Guided Tour / Ollantaytambo -1h

Tour the town and fortress of Ollantaytambo with a local guide. Take a step back in time at this Inca archaeological site; it still shows signs of its former glory, including agricultural terraces, a Temple Hill, and storehouses. Learn how the area, overlooking the Urubamba River Valley, was an important stronghold during warfare between the Spanish and Incas.

DAYS 3-6: Inca Trail to Machu Picchu

After an early breakfast, we’ll take the bus for one hour to the starting point (Pisqhqka’chu or km 82). The porters and guides will organize every detail for you.

You  only will need to carry your handbags with snacks, water, camera, etc and enjoy the splendid mountain scenery and the fascinating Incan monuments along the route. In this 4-day trek, every one takes his on speed.

The final day, you will climb up the steps to the Sungate to see the Sunrise at Machu Picchu and surrounding mountains; in the afternoon, we will take the train and return to Cusco, arriving there in the evening. During the trek, all meals are included and we also offer a vegetarian menu option.

Machu Picchu Guided Tour / Machu Picchu -2h – 3h

Rise and shine – the best time to see the Lost City of the Incas is in the early morning light. Follow the local guide to Machu Picchu to learn about its history at a leisurely pace. Gain local insight into the Inti Mach’ay cave, Inti Watana, Temples of the Sun, Water, Condor, and the Room of the Three Windows. Take time to sit and feel the energy of this 15th-century site, now both a UNESCO World Heritage site and voted one of the new Seven Wonders of the World (in a worldwide Internet poll).

    Climb aboard, take your seat, and enjoy the ride.

Day 7: Free Day

Your choice of either rest or take an optional tours in Cusco (city tour, rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking, etc).

Days 8-9: Jungle Trip

Today; you will be transferred to the airport and take a 45-minute flight to Puerto Maldonado and have accommodations in the lodge beside “Madre de Dios River”.

In the afternoon, you will visit the monkey island and the next day you will explore the charming jungle on foot and motorized canoe. Our local guide will teach you about the jungle. The next day after this magnificent jungle exploration you will be transferred to the airport.

Jungle Excursions / Puerto Maldonado

Enjoy visits to oxbow lakes and small clay licks to learn about the jungle and its inhabitants. Be introduced to the area’s rich flora and fauna by expert naturalist guides, who can teach extensive uses for medicinal and other forest plant resources through traditional techniques. Be prepared to go early morning or evening to avoid the heat of midday. Enjoy a leisurely pace – the trip requires some walking, but nothing too strenuous.

Caiman-Spotting Cruise

Head out after dark by motorized canoe to search for caimans on the river banks. Enjoy a lesson on caimans from the expert guide. Take advantage of the keen eyes of the expert naturalist guides – they are truly spectacular at spotting these elusive smaller cousins of alligators hiding on the muddy banks.

Farewell and travel from Puerto Maldonado to Lima. After having a good breakfast,we’ll drive you to the airport in Puerto Maldonado; we must be 1:30 hours before to make arrangements for confirmation of flight After check in at the airline to fly and pay the airport tax, we said goodbye and you’ll aboard the flight from Puerto Maldonado.

  MEALS: All breakfasts in the hotels, as well the meals in the jungle lodge and delicious meals on the Inca Trail. Food includes pancakes, omelets, soups, fresh fruit, avocado, pasta, chicken, fish, meat, rice, all rich in carbohydrates and suitable for trekking, also hot drinks including coca leaf tea which is excellent for the altitude, teatime everyday (tea, coffee, biscuits, popcorn), (3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 3 dinners and 3 afternoon tees), we always offer a vegetarian option upon request, and we provide available boiled water each morning for your water bottles.
