Machu Picchu Classic Tour is unique trip that explores the crown jewels of the region of Cusco in Peru, whilst enjoying the comfort of its settlements and upgraded hotels. The Sacred Valley of the Incas, Pisaq, Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu showcase some of the most awe-inspiring landscapes; and their expansive vistas and abundant wildlife have been attracting visitors for over 40 years

The trip includes very relaxed hotels; we’ll travel by bus and by train. Our Machu Picchu Classic Tour begins with the exploration of the mysterious city of Cusco; then we travel through the Sacred Valley of the Incas and explore the traditional market and the Inca ruins of Pisac and Ollantaytambo. After that you’ll ride the train trough the Urubamba Valley toward the picturesque town of “Aguas Calientes” and explore the Lost City of the Incas – Machu Picchu.

For Machu Picchu Classic Tour we’ll wait for you in the airport of Cusco, and then you’ll be transferred to the designated hotel. The transfer will last for 20 minutes. Once in the hotel you’ll be served a cup of Coca tea and while you enjoy your tea our staff will give you the briefing of the tour.
At 13:30 hours our bus will pick you up from the hotel for a guided city tour which will last for 4:30 hours. During this tour you’ll visit the two important sites in the city of Cusco (The cathedral and Qorikancha); plus four Inca sites around the city (Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Tambomachay and Pucaúcara).

The Second day the tour begins at 7:30am when our bus picks you up from the hotel and takes you for guided sacred valley tour (Full day). During this tour you’ll visit the local market in the town of Pisaq where you can purchase some item; also we’ll explore the Inca ruins of Pisaq. In the afternoon we’ll visit the Inca ruins of Ollantaytaytambo and walk through the village. At 16:30pm we’ll take the train for two hours the town of Aguas Calientes and have accommodation in the hotel. Feel free to explore this small picturesque town.

On the Third day at 5:30am we’ll take the bus for 25 minutes up to Machu Picchu and explore it. The tour will last for 2-3 hours after that you’ll have free time for further exploration. At around noon we return to the town of Aguas Calientes by bus to enjoy your lunch in one of the restaurants. In between 15:00 to 16:00 we´ll take the train and return to Ollantaytambo station from where you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Cusco.

On the four day, after Breakfast in the hotel we’ll transfer you to the airport.

Four-day Machu Picchu Classic Tour takes you to visit the city of Cusco, the ancient Capital of the Incas, considered to be the archaeological capital of South America. In Cusco, as in no other place, the mixture of Spanish and Inca cultures can be appreciated; as well as its architecture of enormous cut-stone blocks fitted so perfectly that no mortar was needed.

For this trip is provided 3-stars category hotel with buffet breakfast included; our English speaking tour guide will explain you in every Inca site that you’ll visit. The tour is suited for everybody with no limitations; we have available departures in private service and shared groups. This tour is possible to do all year around. It is possible to climb optionally the mountain of Huayna Picchu; for it tell us at time of booking.

Day 1: Cusco

Arrival to Cusco before noon. In the afternoon, you will have guided city tour which starts at 01:30 p.m.

Day 2: Sacred valley of the Incas

Full-day tour includes the Market of Pisac and the Inca ruins of Pisac and Ollantaytambo; in the afternoon, we’ll take train for two hours to the town of “Aguas Calientes”.

Day 3: Machu Picchu

Board a morning bus for 25 minutes up to Machu Picchu; then, you’ll receive a 2 -3 hour guided tour after which you’ll have free time to explore alone. In the afternoon you will return to Cusco.


These tickets are limited, The Permits have to be reserved and bought in advance. The price will be an extra of US$ 35 per person. After your guided tour in Machu Picchu, you can do these extra nice walks at 11:00 a.m, please let us know at the booking time.

Day 4: Departure from Cusco

Transfer to the airport.


Day 1: Arrival to Cusco & City Tour

Four-day Machu Picchu Classic Tour starts once you arrive to Cusco (before noon). We must know your flight details for your reception and transfer to your designated hotel. In the hotel we’ll give you the briefing about the trip. In the afternoon, you will have city tour that starts at 01:30 p.m. For this tour, we’ll pick you up from the hotel and depart on a guided tour where you’ll have the opportunity to visit 6 places (is included entrance fees to the archaeological centers and museums).

We will visit the Main Square, the Cathedral, the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and in addition, we will make a route bordering archaeological centers like Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Q’enko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay, The tour ends at 06:30 p.m approximately at the Main Square in order you can take dinner in one of the restaurants (No meals included).

Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas

Sacred Valley Tour starts at 7:30a.m. For this tour we’ll pick you up from the hotel and travel to green and fertile valley which was an important cradle of food for the Inca. The Sacred Valley is a lush of agricultural area that continues to supply the city of Cusco with much of its production, specially corn and vegetables.

We’ll visit the impressive Pisac ruins and the colourful artisan market where you can purchase handcrafts directly from producers. Then, we’ll continue toward picturesque village of Ollantaytambo; site of another large Inca ruin. This major ruin site is known as the best surviving example of Inca urban planning and engineering.

Ollantaytambo is admired for its huge steep terraces guarding the Inca Fortress and for being one of the few places where the Spaniards lost a major battle during the conquest.  In the afternoon, take the tourist train for two hours to the town of “Aguas Clientes”.

Pisac Ruins Guided Tour /Pisac-1h

Tour the fascinating hilltop citadel of Pisac, an Incan ruin with plunging gorges, a ceremonial centre, and winding agriculture terracing that’s still in use today. Be captivated by this truly amazing site sitting amid sweeping green valleys and mountain peaks. Explore the back of the site to see a pocketed cliff across “Chitamayo” Gorge, which once contained hundreds of Inca tombs.

Ollantaytambo Ruins Guided Tour / Ollantaytambo -1h

Tour the town and fortress of Ollantaytambo with a local guide. Take a step back in time at this Inca archaeological site; it still shows signs of its former glory, including agricultural terraces, a Temple Hill, and storehouses. Learn how the area, overlooking the Urubamba River Valley, was an important stronghold during warfare between the Spanish and Incas.

Day 3: Machu Picchu Tour

Very early breakfast in the hotel; Then leave you belongings in the storage of the hotel. Walk to the bus station and take it for 25 minutes up to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Once we get to Machu Picchu, we’ll pass through the control point, where we’ll hand in the entrance tickets and where the guided  will start the tour. We’ll visiting the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Watch, the Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows, the cemeteries, etc. The tour will last for around 2 -3 hours.

After the tour you’ll be given enough time to have a walk around Machu Picchu. Optionally you can climb the Huayna Picchu mountain (check availability). In the afternoon we’ll return to Cusco. We’ll be waiting for you at the train station and then we’ll take you back to the hotel in Cusco.

Day 4: Departure from Cusco

Farewell and travel from Cusco to Lima. After having a good breakfast,we’ll pick you up from your hotel to drive you to the airport in Cusco; which is 20 minutes from downtown of Cusco. We must be 2 hours before; to make arrangements for confirmation of flight After check in at the airline to fly and pay the airport tax, we said goodbye and you’ll aboard the flight from Cusco to Lima.

To get to Machu Picchu you can walk along the Inca Trail for 2 days or 4 days; you also can take the train from the train station of Ollantaytambo (1:45 hours) or from Poroy (3 hours); or you can take bus for 6 -7 hours

The good news is Machu Picchu can be visited year-round. The most popular time, and therefore the most crowded, is in June, July and august. Low cloud cover during the dry season from April to October also means cold nights on hiking trails – so make sure to bring some thermals for a good night’s sleep. The wet season takes place from November to March. This is when the temperature rises and the region receives heavy rainfall.
